Bridge SSL

Privacy: what this site stores and sends

4 min readUpdated

bridge-ssl.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and loads nothing from other domains. The one thing it keeps in your browser is the colour theme you choose.

What this site keeps in your browser

When you switch between the light and dark theme, the choice is saved in your browser’s local storage, so the next page opens in the same theme. It stays on your device, the page does not send it anywhere, and clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.

What this site does not do

  • No cookies. No page sets one.

  • No analytics or advertising. There are no tracking pixels, analytics scripts or advertising scripts.

  • No third-party resources. Scripts, styles and fonts are served from this domain, so loading a page does not contact anyone else.

  • No forms. Nothing you type on this site is submitted to it.

Checks you run yourself

The checks described under tools run with standard software on your own machine. Nothing about your certificates or keys is submitted to this site.

Requests to the server

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages receives each request, including the address it came from and the page asked for. Questions about how such records are handled go to Bridge CDN.

Names in certificates are public

This is a property of the certificate system rather than of this site: publicly trusted certificates are recorded in public logs, including the names they cover. See certificate transparency.

Bridge CDN accounts

Signing up, the account and the certificates issued for your domains are part of Bridge CDN, and Bridge CDN’s own terms govern that data. This page covers bridge-ssl.com only.
